Why can’t all religions be true? Do all roads lead to God? Is Christianity unique among the world's religions? Join us for a seminar where we'll be tackling all these questions and more.
Who: For those curious about Christianity and those looking to deepen their understanding of what makes the Christian faith unique.
When: Saturday, February 1st from 9am–1:30 pm
Where: Bay Life Church
What: The seminar will focus on three key topics followed by a Q&A session:
- 9–9:50am | Christ in a World of Religions
- 10–10:50am | The Case for the Resurrection
- 11–11:50am | Daring to Doubt
- 12–1:30pm | Q&A Session
Why: The goal of this seminar is to provide a space for open dialogue and understanding about Christianity among other world religions. It aims to equip participants with knowledge and resources to deepen their faith and engage in meaningful conversations with others.
Speaker:
Dr. Craig Hazen | Biola University
Craig Hazen is the founder and director of Biola University's master's programs in Christian apologetics and science and religion. He is the editor of Philosophia Christi and author of The Village Enlightenment in America and Five Sacred Crossings. Hazen has received Biola's Fischer Award and has lectured globally, including at Capitol Hill and the White House. He is also a popular speaker and former co-host of a national radio talk show.

Jesus Among Other Gods | Questions, Faith, and Skepticism
WHO
This event is for people who are skeptical about faith, on the fence about Christianity, or have questions about religion and spirituality. Whether you're exploring different worldviews or simply curious, this group is designed for you.
WHAT
A six-week large group discussion series titled "Exploring Christianity: Questions, Faith, and Skepticism." The group will provide a safe space for open dialogue about faith, religious pluralism, and Christianity's unique claims.

- February 4, 2025: There Can’t Just Be One True Religion
- February 11, 2025: How Could a Good God Allow Suffering?
- February 18, 2025: Science Has Disproved Christianity
- February 25, 2025: The Clues of God
- March 4, 2025: The (True) Story of the Cross
- March 11, 2025: The Reality of the Resurrection
WHEN
Tuesdays at 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM, beginning February 4th and running for six weeks.
WHERE
Bay Life Church, Under the Lid, located in Brandon, FL.
WHY
To create a welcoming environment where skeptics and seekers can explore the claims of Christianity, discuss tough questions, and gain clarity on how faith might relate to their lives. The group is meant to foster understanding, address doubts, and encourage honest conversations.
HOW
Each session will include:
- A short, engaging presentation on a key topic or question (e.g., "Can all religions be true?" or "Is faith rational?").
- Small group discussions facilitated by leaders to ensure a respectful and meaningful dialogue.
- Opportunities to ask questions and share thoughts in a judgment-free zone.
- Light refreshments to create a relaxed, community-focused atmosphere.
Participants can register online or simply show up for the first session. Attendance to the seminar is not required to participate in the group.
