Good Boundaries and Goodbyes
Sundays, February 1 - March 8, 2026 | 10:30am – 12pm | Workbook: $15 | Counseling Center
Love should draw us together, not tear us apart.
Is it unloving or selfish to set a boundary? And what does the Bible instruct us to do when a relationship is no longer safe or sustainable? This group will utilize the workbook and videos created by Lysa Terkeurst entitled Good boundaries and Goodbyes. Consider that good boundaries pave the road for the truest version of love to emerge within the relationships that make up so much of who we are and what we want the most. The author unpacks scriptural concepts in this 6 part video series where we'll learn that boundaries are not just a good idea, but have been God's idea all along. God's design is for us to live in community with others without losing the best of who we are.
DivorceCare
Sundays, February 1 - May 13, 2026 | 9 - 10:15am | Workbook: $20 | Counseling Center
Many people will tell you that separation and divorce are one of the most painful experiences they have ever faced. It is a confusing time when you may feel isolated and have a lot of questions about issues you have never faced before. The emotional damage can cut to the soul. True healing for this kind of pain can only come from God's presence in the life of the person experiencing it. DivorceCare is a Christ-centered program which meets weekly to help you face these challenges and more towards rebuilding your life. Each session consists of 3 distinct elements: watching a video where experts speak on various subjects impacted by divorce or separation. Afterwards is a group discussion and we utilize a workbook for in-group and at-home between sessions.

GriefShare
Thursdays, February 8 - April 30, 2026 | 7 – 8:30pm | Workbook: $20 | Room 604
It may be hard to feel optimistic about the future. If you have lost a spouse, child, family member or friend, you've probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you've never faced before. Our GriefShare group meets weekly to help you face these challenges and move towards rebuilding your life. Each GriefShare session has 3 distinct elements: watching a video which features experts in grief and individuals who have experienced a loss, a brief discussion time related to the video topic, and use of your participant guidebook during the session and throughout the week. You do not need to walk alone on your journey from mourning to joy. We hope you will join us.
The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry
Thursdays, February 12 - March 12, 2026 | 7– 8:30pm | Free | Counseling Center
We are all busy. Some of us can't remember the last time we rested or even had free time. Our busyness can feel productive but it is a toxic distraction, sapping our spiritual, physical, and emotional vitality. It may seem like we have no choice but to live at a frantic pace, but God has a better path for us.
This is a 5 week video series by pastor and author John Mark Comer wherein he tackles one of the defining problems of modern life: chronic busyness and the spiritual, emotional, and relational damage it causes. The author argues that hurry is not just a scheduling issue—it’s a deep spiritual threat that keeps people from living meaningful, grounded, and connected lives.
Nothing to Prove
Sundays, March 15 - May 10, 2026 | 10:30am – 12pm | Workbook: $15 | Counseling Center
Too many of us walk through life feeling like we don't measure up. We always seem to thirst for more and we think if we could only work harder or be better, we could be enough. Truth is...we will never be enough and thankfully we don't have to be. Scripture demonstrates how Jesus is enough. We don't have to prove anything because Jesus has proven everything. Discover how our thirsty hearts can only be quenched by the living water.
This group will meet for 90 minutes over 8 weeks. We will watch a video, utilize a workbook and have group discussion about the material and how we can grow and embrace these truths. The workbook and videos are produced by Jennie Allen, author, speaker, and founder of IF: Gathering.
About the Group Leaders
As coordinator for the Breakthrough Support Group Ministry, Genevieve LoCicero and her team have facilitated a variety of groups. She has a heart to reach people that are hurting in all different areas. Her willingness to offer help and hope gently yet persistently through Breakthrough speaks well of her heart for the troubles of others. Breakthrough services are guided by Romans 12:1-2 which exhorts us to renew our minds. By doing so, we are able to live in a way that is pleasing to the Lord. Renewing our mind impacts emotions which in turn impacts behaviors and results in a life changed.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
